What is Vickism?
Vickism is a fictional ideology, that concerns identity. It doesn't fit on the right or left on the political compass, neither North or South. It isn't centrist either, as centrism is based on the balance of stances — left and right.
Vickism is simply based on the idea of apoliticism, except there is the foundation that you will always be biased, and that fighting for hard-lined ideologies (i.e. all of them) and refusing to admit their faults is self-refuting.
This doesn't simply mean you don't stand for anything. You can have ideological people (i.e. leftists, conservatives, libertarians, whatever) who can also be vickists — not because of anything — but because they simply choose to admit their political stance's flaws.
Choosing to admit your political ideology's flaws is better than poining out contradictions, because it actively helps the people around, instead of worrying about the ideology if it isn't implemented properly. The point of an ideology is to convey a set of ideas that — in theory — could help people's lives. There will always be principles that you cannot and/or don't want to abide by — so it's hypocritical, because you'd want to help yourself and others around you with the particular ideology, while destroying yourself with the some of the principles that you oppose.
Albeit this isn't to say my "ideology" doesn't have any flaws, hence why I call it fictional. In fact, I'd love to see people's stance on this.
But in the end - did you waste your time reading this? Or have you got something similar to share yourself? I don't really know and I don't really care. I had to write what I think about politics cause there are like 9 borillion political ideologies.
TL;DR: It's just an ironic meme, don't give a shit or whine so much about politics.
